About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Manager to work for our client within the Retail Payments sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role, based in London.

Our client is looking for a Product Manager to own the payments proposition across groceries online and gift cards, working closely with engineering, delivery and commercial stakeholders to shape and deliver the roadmap.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Own the payments product proposition for groceries online and gift cards
  • Define and manage the roadmap for payments-related features and enhancements
  • Partner with engineering, delivery and commercial stakeholders to prioritise payments initiatives
  • Ensure payments propositions meet relevant regulatory, compliance and security requirements
  • Collaborate with the wider financial services product team to align payments priorities with the broader roadmap
  • Conduct product discovery to identify friction points in the groceries online and gift card payment journeys
  • Monitor payments and conversion performance, using data to inform product decisions

About You

  • Demonstrable experience delivering payments products, ideally within retail, e-commerce or financial services
  • Strong understanding of payments processes, standards and compliance requirements (e.g. PCI DSS, PSD2)
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs and prioritisation (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders across engineering, delivery and commercial teams
  • Data-driven approach, comfortable using analytics tools to track payments and conversion performance
  • Experience working with distributed/remote teams
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management, with specific payments domain experience required
