About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the Finance sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Cheshire.

FDM is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support large and/or complex change initiatives within a technology and change environment. You will take ownership of detailed business analysis, helping translate business needs into effective processes, requirements and solutions while working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams.
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead business analysis activity across large and/or complex change initiatives, taking ownership of detailed business designs, processes and functionality.
  • Engage stakeholders and delivery teams to investigate operational issues, opportunities and business needs, defining scope, priorities and benefits.
  • Analyse processes and data to identify effective solutions through improvements in information, technology, processes or organisational change.
  • Develop current and future-state models using appropriate analysis and modelling techniques, selecting suitable approaches to elicit stakeholder requirements.
  • Document traceable business requirements to agreed standards and define user acceptance tests, while contributing knowledge and experience to the wider analysis practices 

About You

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support complex change initiatives.
  • Advanced capability in a range of business analysis techniques, tools and standards.
  • Strong understanding of business structures and key business principles, including process and data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Able to manage your own workload effectively, support colleagues and maintain knowledge and skills within your area of specialism.
